Spokane Valley Summer Theatre

During construction, until SVST can assume occupancy of the ICSVPAC,

the 2022 and 2023 summer seasons will continue to be held at the

University High School Theatre

The Bridges of Madison County is developed by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years, Parade, Songs for a New World) and Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman. The show captures the lyrical expanse of America's heartland along with the yearning entangled in the eternal question, "What if...?" Stop the presses! This Disney film turned Tony-winning Broadway hit inspires everyone to fight for what’s right and seize the day. Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged “newsies.” When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what’s right! Sister Act is the feel good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film. Featuring original music by Tony and eight-time Oscar winning Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors) this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards including Best Musical.

A woman hiding in a convent helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she rediscovers her own. Filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing and a truly moving story, Sister Act is reason to REJOICE! Audiences of all ages will be jumping to their feet as the sisters of Queen of Angels Cathedral raise their hands and voices! PG
